A 200-level student of the University of Lagos (Unilag) threw caution to the wind and physically assaulted his lecturer in front of the rest of his colleagues and it was all captured on camera.
A trending video of the incident shows the student being walked out of the class by the lecturer for an offence committed before the filming commenced.
When the student gets close to the door, the lecturer holds open the door with one hand and lays the other hand on the student to push him out.
The student does not like this and violently shoves the lecturer.
A majority of people who have viewed the video are against the student for assaulting his lecturer, who apart from being in authority over him, is also older than him.
But a few also criticised the lecturer for laying hands on his student.
