‘I offered to come to camp despite my injury, Finidi George said I should not worry’ Osimhen defends himself, blasts Finidi George

Super Eagles’ striker, Victor Osimhen has blasted the ex-Head Coach of the national team, Finidi George for saying negative things about him.

In a live session on his Instagram page, Osimhen said he called George immediately it was confirmed that he would not be able to play for a while.

He said he then offered to come to Eagles’ camp to show solidarity and cheer up the boys, but George said he should not worry.

He expressed surprise that he was mentioning his name in a negative way as someone who did not cooperate with him.

Osimhen said the respect he had for George had evaporated.
