Man cries for justice after policeman killed his brother over minor disagreement in Kebbi
A serving member of the Nigeria Police Force has been accused of killing a young man identified as Ahmed Ibrahim over a minor disagreement on money-related issues in Kebbi State.
The deceased’s brother, Mallam Jabeer, disclosed this in a post on Thursday morning, June 13, 2024.
According to Jabeer, the incident occurred on Wednesday in the Yauri Local Government Area of the state.
Jabeer, who described his brother as a hardworking and respectful young man, urged the Nigerian Police Force to ensure the accused officer is brought to justice.
“This is Ahmed Ibrahim. He’s my blood brother. He was killed by a police officer yesterday in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State as a result of a minor disagreement (money-related issues). The boy was very hardworking and respectful. He was a real hustler, always striving to improve his life, but he was killed by a police officer,” he wrote.
“I’m in severe pain, I am still finding it very difficult to accept the fact that this innocent boy was killed by a police officer. @PoliceNG_CRU @PoliceNG
“I’m the only person that can stand for this boy, he has no father, no mother, they’re all dead. He was an ORPHAN who was struggling day and night to make his life better but he was killed just like that. I need justice. My heart is broken.”
