Mr Ben Samuel, a friend of the late Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo, the prime suspect in the disappearance of two ladies, has accused human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu of conspiring with rogue police officers to cover up the truth about the missing ladies.

Recall that Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh disappeared after they left Port Harcourt to visit Andrew in Aba on April 28.

No trace of the two ladies has been seen ever since.

Activist Gwamnishu has been playing a leading role in unravelling the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the two ladies.

He travelled to Abuja with another victim of Andrew to enable the police to interrogate her and obtain information that could enable them to solve the case.

He also later visited Benue State to show Nigerians the dead body of Andrew to put to rest any speculation about the man.

Andrew’s friend, Ben Samuel and Gwamnishu have been cooperating and working together until the latest twist, which saw Samuel throwing weighty allegations against Gwamnishu.

Among other things, Ben Samuel is accusing Harrison Gwamnishu of deliberately misleading Nigerians.

In a video released online, he accused Harrison of providing fake bodies while insisting that the missing girls may still be alive.

He also alleged that $50,000 was in Andrew’s house when the police raided the place together with Gwamnishu.

He asked about the whereabouts of the money and queried why they did not do the search with video coverage or take a witness with them.

Ben vowed to expose the activist while hinting at his imprisonment for five years over crimes bordering on kidnapping and theft.

“You are not interested in the girls that is why you went to identify fake bodies; you’re part of the police people. You told Nigerians N80m left Andrew’s account; who told you this? Who did you transfer it to? You did a search with the police in that house, $50k is missing,” he said partly.

He also alleged that Gwamnishu knew Celine’s phone was found but did not mention it until he (Samuel) heard it from a police source and then confronted Gwamnishu, who then confirmed it.
