A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to recount how relocating to the United Kingdom has wrecked her marriage.
The lady, with the x handle, @iamchyderah, said she and her husband decided to relocate to the UK.
The plan was for her to go first and for the husband to follow later.
With pictures, she told the story of how she bid her friends and family goodbye and travelled to the United Kingdom.
She recounted how she first settled in an AirBnb, went house hunting, settled in a new place, found a church nearby and generally tried to carry on life in a foreign land.
However, she said she noticed that her husband was increasingly showing a lack of interest in their well-being and failed to check up on her and their kids.
On the other hand, he was boldly uploading pictures of himself enjoying nice times with his friends and girls on his WhatsApp status.
She lamented that many times when she called, he would not pick and when she sent messages he would not respond.
She said she later realised she was all alone by herself with their two boys as her husband had moved on to another life back in Nigeria.
She said she was determined to press forward with her life and would try as much as possible not to show any weakness for the sake of her two boys.
