Suspect who invited Celine and Afiba to Aba tortured me for 6 days in April- Lady

A victim of the late Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo who invited two friends, Celine Ndidum and Afiba Tandoh to Aba in Abia State, has narrated how she was nearly killed by the man.

Racheal said Andrew told her he was going to harvest her kidney and other internal organs.

The lady spoke in a live session with media personality, Daddy Freeze, activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, and Andrew’s friend, Mr. Ben.

Narrating how she fell into Andrew’s trap, she recalled that she met him in 2023 and was always calling him for advice.

Rachael said Andrew told her he lived in the United Kingdom but was home for his mother’s birthday celebration.

She said the late Andrew later invited her to be part of the celebration and he sent money to her to travel to Aba.

In Aba, Andrew lodged her in the same Panyu Hotel and Resort, where he first lodged Celine and Afiba.

She said he later came for her under the pretext of taking her out to shop for gifts for his mother.

Rachael said he told her on the way they would make a brief stop over in his family house to pick something and the moment she followed him into the house, he changed to something else and began punching her.

She narrated that Andrew pulled out a gun and asked her to do whatever he pleased if she wanted to return home alive.

She recalled that Andrew tried to rape her through the back as she was unexpectedly seeing her period at the time. She recalled that he was however unable to penetrate as it was too tight for him.

She further recalled that he came in her mouth and asked her to swallow it but she refused because she was afraid that it might be part of a ritual.

Rachael said her refusal earned her a lot of torture from Andrew.

She countered the claim by Andrew’s friend that she stole her Rolex, saying that Andrew made the same allegation against another lady.

She tacked Andrew’s friend, Mr. Ben querying him about why he was the one Andrew was sending copious messages and video clips to while she was being held hostage.

Ben denied that he was the one Andrew was sending the messages to.

Rachael revealed that she had saved another girl identified as Amaka, from falling for the deceased’s antics, adding that the lady saw the post she made concerning Andrew and she contacted her to say that she had been invited for a visit by Andrew.

Rachael recalled how she managed to escape from Andrew’s house, scaling over many walls including one with barbed wire that tore into her leg, requiring extensive stitching at the hospital.

The victim further recalled that she headed straight to the office of the commissioner of police in Rivers State to inform them of the crime that had just taken place.

She said the commissioner directed her to the anti-kidnapping unit, where she was asked to provide the sum of N200,000 for them to travel to Aba to investigate the case.

She said she told them Andrew had wiped out her entire account while she was with him as he seized her phone and collected all her passcodes including those for her social media pages.

She said the policemen were not interested because she had no money to give.

She said she then took to social media to warn other ladies of her experience with Andrew so they would not fall victim but only a few of her friends shared it.

Rachael said she tried to get the attention of some activists and popular blogs such as Very Dark Man and Instablog to raise alarm about Andrew, but they all ignored the Celine and Afiba incident happened.
