A Nigerian lady has revealed that she was dumped by her boyfriend of two years after she played the character of a witch in a drama in school.
The lady, a student of Tai Solarin University of Education shared the story on TikTok.
She shared photos of herself dressed as a witch. Apparently, the boyfriend felt embarrassed by her role and decided to end her relationship.
In a WhatsApp exchange with her ex which she shared online, she asked her boyfriend why he was ignoring her and he responded that he was not happy with her.
“What have I done, babe?” she inquired.
He wrote: “You know I love you and I cherish you so much but I don’t think I will want to continue this relationship again.”
“Are you whining me. Stop all this your jokes jhoor”, she responded.
“I’m not joking here okay. I’m glad you noticed I have been ignoring you since yesterday that was because you went to act as a witch at your Yoruba awareness day, you that usually behave like witch before, now you’ve proof (sic) it to me that you are a real witch.” he wrote.
The lady told him it was the role they gave her, but he would have none of it. He said that she should have rejected the unflattering role.
He declared he did not want to have anything to do with her again.
