“I was a ‘toughie’ in Nigeria, but here I cry every week”, UK-based Nigerian lady shares reel of how many times she has cried since relocation
A Nigerian lady, Meenah, has shared a reel of some occasions she broke down in tears since she relocated to the United Kingdom.
She captioned the video: “Emi Omo lile for Naija. I come UK con dey cry every week”
The clip is a chronicle of the different times she shed hot tears since she relocated to the UK. She did not spell out the circumstances leading to the cries.
The comments section is full of fellow Nigerian immigrants in the UK who also confessed that they broke down a few times mainly because of work or loneliness.
But the commenters from Nigeria told her they would also like to cry like that once they relocated from Nigeria to the UK.
One of them, Beauty Wyt wrote: “Sister mi this tears is not for you alone🙄am coming to that UK and join you with the cry abeg 😴😴I rather cry in that UK than this Nigeria way hunger won kill me 😏 pause d tears first abeg 🙏”
