‘He r@ped me in his office to give me ‘C’ after failing me 3 times’- Lady exposes Uniben lecturer
A young lady has set X on fire after taking to the platform to name and shame a lecturer of the University of Benin who slept with her against her will to pass her.
Nancy Nnabue wrote on X: “Tony (Surname withheld) failed my logic deliberately 3 times until he raped me in his office in final year and gave me a C. I kept failing because I refused to date him”
In subsequent posts, she wrote: “I have more stories. Way more. From 100 level to final year but this one drove me into a particular dark place that I’m only just crawling out from. I’ve never had anything easy but it was made harder by men”
“If I have anything to say about it he will die in pain. The things he did to me in that fucking office and the people that enabled his tyranny for years will die painfully and miserably”
When concerned netizens asked her if she was okay, she wrote: “Yes I’m ok, I got some dms from girls that went through the same thing and my classmate too tweeted her experience. It’s triggering but I’m fine”
Interestingly, other past students of the university took to the thread to share their equally harrowing experiences in the hands of the same lecturer.
Some screen-grabbed his LinkedIn page and posted it on the thread for Nancy to confirm if he was the same person. She confirmed it was.
@Azeta_Sonia wrote of the same man: “Funny how I kept having missing script that I had to rewrite till 3rd year cuz of this same man. My offense, I didn’t follow him to staff club. When Dr Odia became HOD, I saw the results for the scripts that went missing just as I was about to re-register the course.”
