“You’re not my God” -Abuja Barber fires at Davido
Wizkid FC no dey beg, says barber
A Nigerian barber, Calistus Chisom Okolie, also known as Kallystouch on Instagram, has told off megastar, Davido after they exchanged words on Instagram.
The exchange began when Calistus Chisom Okolie, the barber, left a comment on Davido’s post about his time in Dubai.
In his comment, the barber referred to Davido as “003,” suggesting he was the third biggest Nigerian artiste.
Davido did not like the comment and responded that Calistus had ruined a chance to enlarge his business through his (Davido’s) patronage.
In his reply, the barber stated that Davido was not his God and that he had no regrets about his comment. He also declared his support for Wizkid and expressed confidence in his own future success.
“I don’t have any regret in what I said, I never dreamt of barbing Davido, he is not my God, and his not my helper, when the time is right I go blow.
Wizkid still remains my 001 Forever till death”
The barber later said Davido’s manager reached out to him to beg the musician and retorted that he was not interested.
The barber went live on his Instagram page, alleging that he was contacted by someone who claims to be the singer’s manager.
According to him, he was prompted to apologize to Davido and settle the clash amicably but swore never to go down that route.
In the live video, he could be heard insisting that he stands with Wizkid FC and nothing would change his mind about a reconciliation.
in his words, “FC no dey beg; Wizkid remains my 001 in the music industry. I didn’t say that to hurt anyone or pull anybody down. And again, there’s a statement
“Davido made about coming to Abuja and I’d have been is barber. How?? Do you know me before? If not because of my comment, you go reply me? Do you know me bro? FC is number one. Me I no dey beg anybody; who go help me no go stress me.”
