Outrage in Kenya after Nigerian man was caught on CCTV assaulting woman in wheelchair
There is currently an outrage against a Nigerian man named John Nwankwo Noko in Nairobi, Kenya, for allegedly assaulting a woman in a wheelchair.
The CCTV footage of the incident is currently being pushed around on social media in Kenya as citizens called for the prosecution of the man.
The circumstances leading to the assault are not known, but in the CCTV footage circulating, the victim was rolled into what appears to be a living room by two ladies.
The victim can be seen pointing in the direction of the accused, who soon came into camera view lashing out at the victim.
He landed a few blows on the wheelchair-bound woman before the two ladies who came with her rushed in to save her from further assault.
Kenyans are now alleging that John Nwankwo is using his influence to stall his trial.
A Kenyan wrote on X: “The case was to be heard on 22 of this month and the case file disappeared on that day. The prosecutor from Karen police station stopped picking the plaintiffs number including her lawyers calls. The guy is intimidating even those 2 domestic workers and threatened their lives if they dare testify against him”
They are calling on the authorities to look into the matter.
