Tiwa Savage’s s3x tape trends again after she reportedly claimed to have paid expert to wipe it off Internet

Sultry singer, Tiwatope Omolara Savage’s sex tape is trending again three years after it first hit the internet.

A reported claim by the singer that she had paid an Information Technology expert to wipe it off the internet and people’s phones was the trigger to get the clips flying around again.

It would be recalled that in October 2021, Tiwa Savage revealed during an interview with Power 105.1’s host, Angie Martins, in New York that she was being blackmailed over a sex tape.

She admitted that she was the one in the video with the person she was dating at the time.

The clip hit the internet shortly after this.

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, a quote credited to the singer appeared on the internet. Tiwa was quoted to have said that the sex tape gave her a lot of worry because she did not want her son, Jamil to grow up to see it.

She was further quoted to have said that she paid an IT expert to help hack the video on Internet and people’s phones, and that it could not longer be found anywhere again.

“My biggest fear about my sex tape leaking was that my son might one day see it. But I got in touch with an IT expert who hacked the video from the internet and everyone’s mobile device. Right now, you can’t find it anywhere. Even if you had it stored on your phone,” she reportedly said.

The context where she said this was not disclosed, neither was the date of the interview disclosed.

The purported statement has however brought the clip back to the internet as many netizens retrieved it from wherever they stored it and reposted it again. Suddenly, the clip is trending again, three years later.

Some netizens are suggesting that the resurgence of the clip might be connected to a drive for publicity for the artiste’s latest effort.

Tiwa is set to premiere her debut Nollywood movie, Water & Garri, on May 10, 2024.
