Junior Pope’s boat capsized after colliding with another boat- Eye-witness

An eye-witness has given an account of how the boat Nollywood actor, Junior Pope was in capsized on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

According to him, the pilot of the boat conveying Junior Pope and his colleagues was not paying attention to the front and was unaware another boat was coming at fast speed.

The eye-witness said by the time the pilot realized it, it was too late and his boat collided with the other one, throwing everybody into the water.

According to the man, it was not immediately possible to find divers to rescue the team, but they finally did, they were able to find a man first and it took them a longer time to find Junior Pope.

He further disclosed that some people were still in the water that could not be located after lots of efforts and they decided to leave them believing that they would float by today, Thurdsay.
