A Nigerian man living in Canada, Eddy Osaman, has taken to social media to lament the surge in crimes in the country.
According to him, vehicle owners cannot sleep with two eyes closed on account of theft and vandalism of their vehicles by criminals.
He claimed that police even advise car owners to leave their car keys on the front porch so that criminals do not need to break into the home to steal cars.
He also lamented that the insurance companies now exempt theft and vandalism of vehicles from the risks they cover.
He said his church bus kept with him was vandalised and when he reported to his landlord, he said he had also experienced the same thing.
