Media personality, Daddy Freeze, threatens to petition UK authorities to deport many Nigerians living there (Video)
Controversial media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has threatened to use his clout to get authorities in the United Kingdom to deport many Nigerians living there.
He made the threat on one of his social media live sessions after a lady based in the UK contacted an Abuja-based activist, Very Dark Man to expose him (Daddy Freeze) for collecting money from her and not delivering on their agreed deal.
The lady, identified simply as Maria, had approached Daddy Freeze to use his platform to help her and other victims of an alleged N300m fraud to highlight a scam.
The aim was to pressure the person accused of collecting the money, identified as a UK-based lady, Florence Ezem, into paying back the money she collected from people.
Daddy Freeze allegedly collected N150k from Maria for the job, but reportedly failed to use an appropriate headline to highlight the issue.
When Maria drew his attention to this, he reportedly told her he could not do more than what he had done. He asked for more money to be able to give Maria a live session.
Dissatisfied, Maria contacted VDM to complain about the deal and VDM took to social media to drag Daddy Freeze for compounding the misery of people duped of millions of naira by collecting money from them and not delivering on the job.
Daddy Freeze in response said what he billed Maria was a consultation fee and that it was legal.
He expressed annoyance with many people dragging him online for allegedly adding to the trouble of the victims of scam, rather than helping them solve their problems.
He threatened that if people continued to call him out he would beam his searchlight on the scam and the whole dirty deals surrounding Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for which the victims gave money to the said Florence Ezem.
Daddy Freeze accused Maria of also benefiting from the racket and promised to petition UK authorities to look into the entire scam.
He said the repercussion of that is that many Nigerians who got their UK papers through such fraudulent means would be sent back home.
He claimed some Nigerians were already begging him online not to do that even as others dared him to do it.
