My wedding at month end is not sure after my wedding planner defrauded me of $20k – US-based Nigerian lady (Video)
A US-based Nigerian lady, Ijesimonn has taken to social media to drag a Houston-based Nigerian wedding planner who allegedly swindled her of $20,000.
According to Ijesimonn, the wedding planner, Dure Events came highly recommended and she decided to work with her after doing some research to establish that she had once been featured on CNN and had managed many high brow events in the past.
However, Ijesimonn got a rude shock when the venue they were to use for the wedding told her the venue was not confirmed because the required deposit was not made.
Her efforts to get back to Dure Events’ owner who was paid for the venue have since been abortive as she reportedly no longer picks up calls nor responds to messages.
She has been sued to court, but that is not so much of a worry for Ijesimonn as the fact that her wedding date of 24th of March is no longer certain.
