A Nigerian is on X complaining how the Minister of Solid Minerals wasted the country’s resources by booking an exhibition stall at the Mining Summit in South Africa and not showing up there with his entourage.
The X user, with the handle, Fin_Disu alleged that there was no one to attend to visitors at the Nigerian stall at the summit.
He alleged that the minister and his entourage were in South Africa to play, while other stalls booked by other countries actively engaged with visitors at their stalls.
He tweeted:
“The Federal Minister of Solid Minerals and his entourage really embarrassed Nigeria at the Mining summit in South Africa. In a time where we are looking for investment in the country, these guys went there to play. I wish I could show you the pictures.”
