Four policemen on checkpoint duty along Jalingo-Yola highway rejected N8m bribe from suspected bandits (Video)

Four policemen have been celebrated for turning down a bribe of eight million naira bribe offered by some bandits they intercepted at a checkpoint in Jalingo.

The incident happened in the dead of the night on January 29 as the men mounted a roadblock to screen passing traffic.

They suspected the bandits and arrested them. However, in a bid to escape the long arm of the law, the suspects reportedly offered the policemen the money in their possession in exchange for their freedom.
