The viral lady, Mummy Zee, is being dragged on Twitter after making a supposed insensitive comment on a post about a man who went missing.
Mummy Zee became a household name some weeks back after she disclosed that she woke up early to cook and pack lunch for her husband.
The post, which was a response to someone’s tweet, generated a lot of debates with many feminists dragging her for ‘idolising’ her husband.
Many Nigerians subsequently rallied around her, urging her not to be intimidated by the feminist, as she symbolized the true African respect for the institution of marriage.
She has since become a millionaire through a rash of donations of cash and material substance by good-spirited Nigerians.
She has now run into some X storm when she responded to a tweet by an individual, @HasanSZNN about a missing friend, Tobywood.
He had written:
“PLEASE WE ARE LOOKING FOR TOBILOBA (TOBYWOOD).
He was last seen on Wednesday morning. His brother left him at home before leaving for work, they live together. Nobody has been able to reach him ever since. His phone has been switched off ever since. I’m really confused and I don’t know what to do anymore. This is a call for help. Please help me find Tobi pleaseeee 💔,” he wrote.
In a now-deleted response, Mummy Zee quoted the post, and said that her husband just reminded her to call the same person as he was expected to deliver some furniture to them.
She wrote: “Lord have mercy, my husband just reminded me to call him o as he hasn’t brought the table and chair we’re expecting. God please keep him safe,” she wrote.
Many thought the tweet was insensitive as it suggested that her priority was her furniture in comparison to someone’s life.
Some others however pointed out that her tweet was simply misunderstood as she was only saying that her husband reminded her to call the person for that reason.
