Afrobeat sensation, Ayra Starr has revealed how she refrained from purchasing an expensive bag she wanted because her mother would tongue-lash her.
The singer revealed how her mother is still a typical Nigerian mum in a recently released interview that has gone viral.
She described how, despite having the money, she didn’t purchase an expensive bag she had her eye on because of her mother.
The Grammy nominee also narrated how her mum constantly calls her and everybody around her whenever she is out on a show during late hours.
The Mavin signee talked about how she prayed for a Grammy nomination, which she received.
Ayra Starr also declared that she would release an album this year.
