A motorist has rammed into the side of an operation van of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Delta State.
The incident happened after the van was used to block the Expressway in a bid to stop the van from escaping.
It appeared operatives of the corps had been trying to apprehend the motorist who was determined to get away.
The motorist who took off from the South East and was heading to Lagos was however cornered on Asaba Road by the driver of the FRSC van.
The motorist seemed to have been taken unawares as he applied the brakes suddenly but still collided with the van.
The person who filmed the immediate aftermath of the accident blamed the FRSC officials for endangering the lives of the occupants of the car, including three children.
He also alleged that the driver of the FRSC van assaulted the other driver after the accident. There is a visible cut on the back of the head of the driver. He also had a swollen eye.
