A Nigerian man has announced that his businessman uncle who was abducted five months ago and for whom a ransom of 12 million was paid is yet to come home.
In a series of posts shared on X, a man named Ubawuike stated that his Uncle was kidnapped in Umudagu Mbieri in Imo State while his wife was pregnant. He stated that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of N12 million and this was paid in full to them. He said three months after the ransom was paid, no word had been heard from the kidnappers and that his family didn’t even know if his Uncle was still alive or dead.
He said that the kidnapped man’s wife recently gave birth to a baby boy and already has 2 girls, yet no one is rejoicing over the birth.
