A man, identified as Bishop Khale on X, has raised the alarm about an abduction he allegedly witnessed today, January 1, 2024, in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Khale said he was driving behind a car when he noticed that a lady was struggling to open the car’s back door to come out but was being resisted by a man in the back seat.

He said he followed the car around for some time, honking for it to stop, to no avail. He said he later remembered to start recording them, using his phone.

He captured the plate number of the vehicle and the face of the driver who came down from the car to assist the person restraining the lady in the back seat.

Read his tweets:

“Happening now on New Year’s Day. A lady was struggling to get out of this Black pathfinder on Amadu Bello Way. Lagos. @followlasg @PoliceNG @LagosPoliceNG,

@ShehuSani, @jidesanwoolu,  I believe she’s (being) Kidnapped

I got the face of the driver & the plates. Kindly retweet & tag”

When people queried him for not raising an alarm, he wrote:

“For the record: I raised alarm. Called on area boys, but most of them hesitated. The driver got back in the car & drove off. I followed the car around V.I, hoping I’d see a policeman to report to, but none was on the route they followed.

“I even flagged down cars behind me & kept screaming someone is being kidnapped.

Everyone overtook me, I already followed them around horning for some minutes before they parked. That’s when I remembered to take a video. It’s sad to read some of these comments sha
