A man has started a wild conversation on X, after sharing the story of how his dad told his mom to fry him plantain the day his grandfather died.
The X user, @OffUchay, said his grandfather, the father of his mother, passed away and on hearing the news, the mom was devastated since she was close to her dad.
Her husband came back from work later that day and asked her if she heard the news earlier, and without consoling her he told her to fry him plantain.
The son wrote:
“The day my Grandpa died, my mum was disheartened about the loss of her father, my dad came back from work, asked her if she heard the news early and asked her to go fry plantain for him.”
The young man said he opted to fry the plantains for his father instead.
Many Netizens have frowned upon the behaviour of his dad towards his mourning mum.
@OffUchay said it was the least of his father’s extreme behaviour.
“She was dumbfounded, I swear. There are even worse stories. That’s the man I grew up with”, he said.
