A woman, Samantha Gizzle, is trending widely after posting a video of her wedding to a man she met when she was four years of age. He was purportedly her babysitter.
Samantha claimed she married the man many years after they first met despite a 15-year age difference.
She posted a picture of them together many years ago when he was her 19-year-old babysitter. He can be seen in the pictures carrying her shoulder high.
She then posted a picture of them together purportedly as man and wife on their wedding day.
Samantha also posted a video of herself and her apparent new hubby, Johnathan, on the big day itself, adding that she is now 29 and he is 44.
In the caption to the video, Samantha said: “You were the best babysitter ever. I’m glad we could look past аge and take this new chapter in our life, together.
“You make me so happy, make me smile, make me laugh, and this makes me unconditionally love you more & more.. and I hope the best for us and our future family to come.”
The TikTok video has been viewed more than three million times, with the vast majority left feeling a little uneasy.
“When WE were young? girl more like when YOU were young oml,” one person said.
A second added: “Omfg the way my jaw dropped that is literally so insane.”
While a third remarked: “I’m still tryna wrap this around my head 2 mins later.”
Meanwhile, an X, formerly known as Twitter user, penned: “HOW do you post this and think it’s cute and wholesome.”
A Redditor has however described the post as fake.
He wrote: “It’s rage bait. The photos are of random people lifted from Google. The second picture is stolen from this blog.
“As you can see from the blog post, that’s actually a father and daughter. The guy doesn’t even look 19.”
The link the Redditor provided does indeed show a picture from a 2012 blogpost, with the caption: “My dad and I, looking super 90s.”
However, as of this moment, Samantha is still claiming the story is true and is still defending the purported marriage.
She attacked those criticizing her and urged them to leave her in peace.
In her latest post, she wrote: “I don’t think I can come back to the internet after this.. Its disgusting how I’ve been treated.”
