Netizens drag influencer, Ola of Lagos after his claims were discredited by American businessman
Popular social media influencer, Ola of Lagos, is trending for allegedly throwing fraudulent figures around.
A video of an American businessman discrediting the figures Ola of Lagos quoted in one of his videos is currently trending, sparking conversations about his claims in other videos.
Steve Varsano, Founder of the “The Jet Business” posted a video where Ola of Lagos reviewed a private jet and threw out some figures as the worth of the jet.
Steve discredited the figures and said: “$16 million dollars? This guy is smoking something?” said the plane was not more than $5 million naira.
Steve at some point chuckled, shook his head and said, “This guy really should not be doing a review of an airplane”.
The critical comments have got Nigerians talking, with many bashing Ola of Lagos for feeding the public with anything his customers tell him without having a clue himself.”

Ola of Lagos has since responded to the call out.
He said he did the video about a year ago and simply quoted the figures given to him by the advertiser.
He confessed he knew nothing about aeroplanes.
