The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Professor Olusola Kehinde, has commended C Limited for producing a documentary on the transformation of FUNAAB in the last five years.
He described the documentary thus “You have done this job with excellence. You took your time to put this together in a very professional manner”.
The Vice-Chancellor stated this at the formal presentation of the documentary held at the University’s Senate Chambers on Wednesday.
He noted that academics were somewhat conservative and thanked PR Primus for highlighting the unique selling points of the University to potential investors to enhance the town and gown synergy.
Prof Kehinde promised to circulate the documentary to all the University’s stakeholders adding ” a knowledge of the past is necessary to navigate the future”.
“To Oga, we have known each other for long and fate brought us together. We will distribute the documentary to all departments and friends. You passed so many balls to me and I have scored the goals. During the last convocation, we commissioned about ten projects which were started by you. 95 per cent of the projects are now completed. We cherish the legacies you bequeathed to us,” Prof Kehinde said to his predecessor.
Commenting on the documentary, the former Vice Chancellor, Professor Felix Kolawole Salako, fondly called “Mr. Project” explained that he executed the projects during COVID-19 to beat inflation and expressed the hope that the projects would not be under-utilized.
Speaking earlier, the Managing Director of PR Primus, Mr. Akin Okudero, thanked the management of FUNAAB for the confidence reposed in the expertise and know-how of PR Primus.
