A woman is currently being held by the police for pouring hot water on her sleeping husband after an argument.
The husband, Olaolu Oguntuase, is spending his Christmas fighting for his life in a hospital.
The wife, Dorcas Oluwabukola Fatunbe, is currently cooling her heels in the cell at Meiran Police Station, Lagos, after she was apprehended.
A friend of the victim, Omi Foundation, in a post on X/Twitter, said Olaolu’s only offence was that he was with him on Friday, December 15, 2023, a day to his wedding, just like he was there for him too a day before his (Olaolu’s) wedding.
“My childhood friend came all out for me on Friday, 15th December 2023, just as I was with him a day to his wedding too. This was the only crime my friend committed. OLUWABUKOLA DORCAS TAKUNBE, God will judge you”.
The bone of contention is not clear, but it appears she took offence because her husband did not take her along. She probably suspected that he was with another woman at the event.
At the time of her anger, Oluwabukola reportedly said she would have scalded her husband’s p3nis as well.
However, when she saw the extent of the damage she wreaked on her husband in the hospital, Dorcas appeared remorseful.
A clip shows her rolling on the ground begging her husband for forgiveness.
