A lady is accusing the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, of smashing the window of a commercial bus and injuring some passengers after the bus hit his car in traffic in Lagos.

However, most netizens are not buying the story because there is no picture showing the Man of God wreaking the havoc the lady is accusing him of.

According to Ayoola Kelechi, an X user who claimed to be on the bus at the time of the incident, Pastor Adefarasin got out of his car in annoyance after it was hit by the commercial bus and smashed the windows of the bus.

Unfortunately, those sitting close to the window were sprayed with shards of glass, and at least one woman had a tiny cut that was bleeding.

Kelechi claimed the passengers were too shocked to record what was happening, and only whipped out their phones after the revered pastor had left.

She claimed that the Pastor left behind his PA and security escort vehicle.

According to Kelechi, the PA calmed the passengers down and also refused to arrest the driver of the commercial bus as ordered by Pastor Adefarasin before he stormed off the scene.

See the eye-witness’ post:

@ayoola_kelechi: “Inside traffic and this bus hit @pauladefarasin  car and your esteemed pastor and religious father got down from his car and smashed the window of the bus involved, injuring passengers in the bus and threatening the driver. An unmitigated disgrace. What an experience.”

A torrent of replies greeted her post, querying why she only posted the pictures of the injured passenger, the commercial driver and the bus, but not a single picture of Pastor Adefarasin who was accused of wreaking the havoc.

Responding to the question of whether there was at least one picture of the cleric doing the damage, Kelechi wrote:

“No. He had left before pictures were taken. There’s a pic of his PA/Security detail but it wouldn’t be fair to post his picture since he was the only one who treated people with some dignity, stopping MOG from further assaulting the driver and refusing to arrest him as ordered.”

Read some comments:

@godiva242: “Lol… for this same Nigeria wey the first thing people do is to remove their phones and start recording, Abi him stop people from recording. We can’t even see the photo of his car on the scene ok ooh”

@ElnukSamoht: Yup yup. Hmmmmmm……Sounds plausible, but you will have to forgive my native scepticism at this explanation.

I’m sure you too will find it hard to believe that a well-known Nigerian, talk less an extremely popular MoG, would act a fool in public and not even 1 picture was taken

@ayoola_kelechi: “I’m still in shock as I imagine most other people were. Only a couple of people got out their phones to document at all.”

@ziyaetuk: “It is strange and confusing how the instinct of everyone to take pictures or videos in this day and time could only kick in after the primary subject of discussion has left the scene.”

@OkpePhillips: “How would it be unfair to post the pic of someone you said behaved well? Post the pic to show that indeed he and his boss were there”

@Nmalizz: “You dey cap o…..jezzzzz no one will ever see pastor Paul in that act and not bring out their phones.continue with your rubbish agenda👎”

@Saherayi_15: “Then you shouldn’t have posted those pics. If this news turns out to be fake, then you better lawyer up already.”

@slydy1: “D story no join at all, if u must cook somethn for some fools just try to add small sauce to it. You wldnt want to show d picture of his PA/Security that shld be nd only tiny proof u gt. Only fools can blv ur story.”

@EvribodysNobody: “Post the picture of his PA if your story is to be believed. Someone of you lie so much that even those who equally h@te the person you’re against won’t but not believe you. You cannot tell me that you couldn’t get his picture. Know also that if this is a lie, or if you don’t…”

@KemisolaAdekun1: “Yeah, I see. Just like in the Lekki Massacre case. Not a single person was able to record and take pictures whilst he was wrecking those havoc. He did it so fast that no one caught him on camera in this gadget age?”
