Netizens console couple whose wedding reception was ruined by massive flood on Saturday (video)
Netizens are consoling a South African couple whose expensive wedding was ruined by a torrential rain accompanied by a massive flood that swept away materials for the wedding, including the tables and chairs.
The guests scampered to safety together with the celebrants and they watched from a safe distance how the rain and flood made a mess of their elaborate preparations.
A video of the scene shows tumbling water sweeping away everything on its path, including decorations and other items.
The loud speakers were adversely affected, as other equipment moved to the ground of the event.
The original poster, believed to be the groom, wrote the caption: “A lot happened, a lot of strange things that did not make sense at all😭😭😭… if today did not break me? Nothing will.”
