A lady has taken to Twitter to lament that her phone screen was damaged after a random guy whom she refused to give her phone number pushed her to the ground.
@Mimee_ilo said she would typically give out her number to any man who asked but was tired on that day and was not willing to give out her number.
She said she was walking away when the man pushed her.

Some ladies responded that they also received hostile responses from men when they declined to give out their numbers, but no physical violence.
A lady said she stood her ground once and the man threatened that it would not end well for her.
She said she had to take a commercial tricycle (keke) for a trekable distance because she wanted to get away from there fast.
