A popular Yoruba spoken word icon, Alhaji Olanrewaju Adepoju, is dead.
The renowned poet, writer, artiste and religious leader, passed on at the age of 83 years.
His son, Adejare Adepoju, in a statement on Sunday, said his father died in his home in Ibadan.
“Baba has gone to rest,” he announced.
