“I was paid N5 million, so I must perform” – Portable tells Celestial church to reinstate his performance

Controversial singer Portable has said that he must perform at the Celestial church event he was paid a whopping N5 million for, come what may.

The appearance of Portable and Fuji Musician Pasuma on the poster of Celestial Church, Land of Goshen Parish’s forthcoming Praise and Ankara night generated a lot of controversy leading to the leadership of the main church calling on the parish to abort the plan.

Taking to his Instagram page to react, Portable said he had been duly paid for the show and as such, he must perform.

He said he and Pasuma are children of God and should be allowed to perform.

The pleaded with the leadership of the Celestial Church to allow him to perform in God’s name. He emphasized that the clergy shouldn’t decide to dismiss him because of his appearance.

He said:

“Cele we must do the show o, you have paid me N5 million and we must do it. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.

“This child of God is coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God, don’t use my looks to judge me.”
