Man lands in LASUTH, needing surgery after eating bleach-contaminated fufu at local eatery

A man is reportedly fighting for his life after he consumed a meal of fufu in a local restaurant.

An X user, @EkitiBabyGov shared the story. He wrote:

“A friend of mine ate Fufu that was mixed with Hypo from a Buka in Lagos. Now he is booked for Surgery and also Tissue expansion at LASUTH.

I saw what that meal did to him, his skin and intestines.

People should be careful out there.”

In follow up tweets, he said the owner of the bukateria has been picked up and were eager to settle the matter out of court.
