A Nigerian man has taken to TikTok to narrate his experience caring for an old man for 12 hours in the United Kingdom for 200 pounds.
The man noted for his funny content on Tiktok and who goes by the name Timi, said a family friend called him to help get someone who can fill in a shift in her caring home.
Timi said he asked how much the shift would pay and when he heard that it would pay him 200 pounds for 12 hours, he decided to do it himself.
He however said the job was degrading as the old man he cared for was difficult and orally abused him.
Timi said the man did not allow him to enter for a long time because he did not know him, but later allowed him in.
His job description included washing plates, looking after the home, changing the old man’s diapers and bathing him.
He said he found the job disgusting and he could not eat when he got home, because he was just remembering the disgusting part of his duties.
He however said he loved the money part of the job, as they paid him 200 pounds which was over 200,000 naira for a 12 hours job.
