A Canadian lady is trending after she put out a video bemoaning the cost of living in Ontario, Canada.
She filmed herself sitting in a car complaining about the situation of her life, breaking down in tears.
According to the lady in the viral video, she gets paid 21 Canadian dollars per hour, works nine hours daily and 40 hours weekly and is still unable to live a comfortable life.
The lady with the handle, @sweetly.me.81 on Tiktok laments that she has not been able to afford cable television for more than 10 years, yet she works every day.
She captioned the video: “Can you imagine working to be broke? How has the Economy in Ontario gotten so bad I can’t survive on $21/hr with no extras. rent is $1650++. I don’t have car payments to replace in my budget”
The original video has garnered over 2.6 million views at the time of filing this report, with many people agreeing with her that the economy has tanked under the present government.
