Governor Hope Uzodinma has been declared the winner of the gubernatorial election in Imo State.
INEC declared him winner of the November 11 election earlier today.
According to the results announced by Professor Abayomi Fasina, the Returning officer of the election this morning, November 12, Uzodinma of the APC polled a total of 540, 308 votes.
His closest rival, PDP’s Emeka Anyanwu polled a total of 71, 503 votes while Labour party’s Athan Achonu polled a total of 64, 081 votes.
