A lady has broken down in tears after the bundle of money given to her allegedly turned into ordinary paper.
The lady who operated a Point of Sales Terminal (POS) was approached by a customer who paid her N75,000 to transferred to an account.
She allegedly counted the money to ensure it was complete and put it in her handbag before carrying out the transaction.
By the time she checked the money again, it had allegedly transformed into ordinary pieces of paper.
The hapless POS operator vowed it was real money before she put it in her bag, but could not explain how it became a bundle of paper, with the rubber band still on it.
Some sypathisers argued the fraudsters must have used ‘juju’ (mystical powers) to transform the money, while others argued it was bundle of paper they gave her and used tricks to distract her not to pay full attention.
