‘You’re a thief and if you bring in your dad, I’ll drag him too’, Businessman blasts Davido for refusing to pay N218m debt

The businessman, Abubakar Salami, who has been dragging singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, for owing him N218million, has threatened to embarrass Davido’s father if he tries to muzzle him.

Salami in a video posted on his social media handle accused Davido of stealing from him and ruining other people’s business by not holding up his end of the bargain.

He claimed Davido threatened to use his father’s connection to get the Inspector General of the Police (IGP) involved with a view to intimidating him. He said he would not be intimidated.

He said he paid Davido to influence a football academy business and fulfilled his own side of the bargain by paying Davido, but he has refused to carry out his contractual obligations.

He claimed that Davido has cancelled two press conferences and several photo shoots on the project and refused to do any influencing for the project.

Salami said Davido also refused to return the money he collected, and vowed to do all it takes to collect the money back.

Since he began a renewed agitation to collect the money, Salami has lost his Instagram page.

It was believed that fans of Davido reported the businessman’s account en mass and was deactivated by Instagram.

A music executive, Sam Klef who also joined Salami to call out Davido has equally lost his Instagram account.

According to my understanding, you have no decorum of respect or human sympathy. Threatening me or bullying me won’t work and the fact that you are being called out by so many people on the same matter isn’t going to help. Do the needful.
