FUTO students allegedly extort N2,500 from each fresher at multiple roadblocks on matriculation day

A fresher at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO)has taken to social media to expose her senior colleagues who allegedly extort N2,500 from each fresher at multiple roadblocks on the way to their matriculation ceremony venue.

The lady, in the video shared on TikTok, showed how the pathway leading to the school was blocked by her senior colleagues.

She disclosed that they are being asked to pay N2,500 before being allowed to pass.

She wrote the caption: “this is pure wickedness” to the video she shared.
