The National Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje; Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure; and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, have arrived at the Supreme Court for the final verdict on the petitions by President Bola Tinubu’s challengers.

The Supreme Court will rule on the appeals of the presidential candidates of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and LP’s Peter Obi, challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election.

Atiku and Obi had filed the appeal after the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal dismissed their petitions for failing to prove their allegations of electoral irregularities and malpractice.

Ahead of the verdict, the party chairmen were seen exchanging pleasantries as they arrived at the sitting.

Also present in court is the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and Atiku Abubakar’s lead counsel, Chris Uche SAN.
