Mark Angel, a Nigerian comedian popular for his skits with the precocious comic, Emmanuella, has disclosed that he secretly married, but is now divorced.
The scriptwriter and skit maker made this known on a podcast hosted by Teju Babyface Oyelakin which was posted on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
He said, “I was once married, I never said it in any podcast. I got married in secret and I was divorced in secret. I don’t even know if am dating anyone now. I have babe 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
“If I was my daughter, I wouldn’t date me.”
He, however, declined to reveal the identity of his former spouse.
He disclosed that he tried to enter Nollywood, but would not be given any role, not even a ‘waka pass’ role. He said he asked an executive director for just any role, but he told him he could not act and should go and carry a camera instead.
Mark Angel disclosed that he was cooking something, adding that it was for this reason he was in America.
