A school proprietress is trending after she was filmed chastising a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on her knees.
The proprietress was seated, while the corps member was down on her knees. Another person in the room filmed the incident.
The video of the incident was uploaded by an X user, DammyCream2, who did not specify the exact location of the incident.
He just said the proprietress asked the corps member to kneel down over an offence.
In the video, the proprietress can be heard speaking in Yoruba, complaining about the conduct of the corps member.
It appears the corps member was absent and sent an excuse about stomach troubles, but was apparently sighted later without any signs of stomach trouble.
The video has generated lots of comments, with many criticizing the proprietress for disrespecting the corps member.
However, some pointed out that it could be the corps member who knelt down of her own volition in a bid to persuade the proprietress not to report her to NYSC for her lapses.
