Four robbery suspects linked to the Benue bank robbery which claimed the lives of some police officers were on Saturday, October 21, arrested by security operatives along Otukpo-Taraku road, Benue State.
A combined team of officers of the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Armed Forces, amongst others, arrested the men.
A police source told The Punch:
“Four armed robbers have been arrested by Joint Security Forces along Otukpo-Taraku road, Benue State on Saturday. The robbers are part of those armed robbers who attacked banks and a police station at Otukpo, Benue State yesterday.”
When contacted, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Catherine Anene, urged newsmen to await the conclusion of the investigation by the investigation team.
