A woman, identified as Martha Okpanachi, is reportedly being sought by the police after she slashed her 20-year-old stepdaughter in the face and thigh with a razor blade in Mararaba town, Nasarawa state.
One Bem Raphael Aondogu, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Friday, October 20, 2023, said the woman attacked Ele-Ojo Okpanachi because she slept on the sitting room couch instead of her bedroom.
“THIS IS A CASE OF MALTREATMENT BY STEPMOTHER. This is Ele-Ojo Okpanachi 20 years, a daughter of one Mr. Friday Okpanachi, a native of Aloma in Ofu LG of Kogi State who resides in the Kabayi area of Mararaba,” the post reads.
“Eleojo’s mother died and the father Friday Okpanachi married Martha Okpanachi with GSM 08038886195 whose Facebook page and picture are attached.
“Martha met Ele-Ojo last night sleeping on the sitting room couch and sliced her face and thigh with a razor saying she was supposed to sleep in her room instead of the sitting room.
“The said Martha (StepMum) who is a native of Adupi in Olamaboro LG is currently on the run because Mr. Friday Okpanachi is looking for her. If you know her or see her anywhere please inform the Nigeria Police Force near you.”
