An accident occurred this morning at Ile Zik part of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, involving two BRT buses.
The front of the two buses were shattered, while the glass windows of one of the buses were equally shattered.
Officials of the Lagos State Management Agency (LASTMA) announced the accident on their X handle as follows: “A serious accident has occurred on the BRT corridor, just in front of Conoil at Valley Estate, inward IleZik on LagosAbeokuta Exp Way.”
No information was given about the status of the drivers and passengers of the two buses.
LASTMA just indicated that the accident happened on the BRT corridor and is therefore not impeding traffic on the road.
