Lagosians risk their lives to scoop fuel from fallen tanker on Otedola Bridge (video)

Many Lagos residents threw caution to the wind and went to scoop fuel from fallen tankers when a tanker carrying diesel fell and spilt its contents in the Otedola area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The tanker reportedly crashed into a white vehicle and fell to its side.

As the contents of the trailer poured onto the street, residents immediately rushed out with containers to fetch diesel for themselves. Some scooped from the roadside while others climbed the fallen tanker to scoop fuel from it.
