A ministerial nominee for Kaduna state, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, slumped while being screened by the Senate on Wednesday, October 4.
Lawal whose name was submitted alongside two others for screening by President Tinubu on Tuesday, October 4, fell to the floor while he was being questioned by the lawmakers.
He was the second nominee to be screened. He had finished making his presentation to the lawmakers and was about to take questions from them when he fell to the floor.
The Senate went into a closed-door session while efforts were being made to revive the nominee who was inside the chamber.
