The fate of a man hangs in the balance after he was seen dangling from a rope on a pedestrian bridge in Lekki and was brought down by Good Samaritans.
The video did not start from the beginning apparently because people did not know what the man was up to until he had jumped and was dangling from the rope right above the busy Lekki-Epe Expressway.
A white bus that was approaching was stopped directly under the man and three men climbed on top of the bus to access him. The incident caused a huge traffic build-up as other vehicles coming behind the white bus were stopped by the LASTMA officials and some other uniformed men.
His hands were flapping around as he struggled for air.
The rescuers succeeded in bringing him down. He was believed to have been rushed to the hospital but no further information is known about his situation.
An X user, @Mbahdeyforyou who posted the incident wrote:
