The Lagos-Badagry Expressway was locked down around the Trade Fair area following the downpour of today, September 16, 2023.
Flood water covered the entire road, completely submerging some vehicles whose owners thought they could brave it.
Area boys made brisk business ferrying pedestrians from one side of the expressway to the other side through makeshift canoes, mostly made of disused refrigerators for a fee.
